- Mindfulness has let me realize my emotions are there, that's the first thing. I can't tell you if that has had an impact on them. I imagine they might diminish.

- Breathing is huge. Immediately before this I took a five-second breath, held it for five seconds, let it out. I breathe for twenty minutes during my meditation each day.
- When I'm nervous, breathing is the first thing I go to.

- Mindfulness brings on a different level of sensitivity. You get to stop your busy brain and your busy life and think of, how am I impacting the people and the world around me.
- I have a hard time with that because I move at a quick pace so being mindful has to be very intentional for me. That's one of the reasons I meditate.

- I was just introduced to a breathing exercise that my yoga instructor talked to me about. It's deep breathing. I can't remember the name of the guy who invented it, I think he's Australian.
- It brings about clarity and helps with cell reproduction.

- I'm a much more calmer person. I don't get angry or irritated in the sense that I was before. [Back then] I could get angry about nothing and everything within a matter of seconds when I was younger. It's very, very hard to make me irritated or angry nowadays because I know that in the end it just affects yourself.
Thoughts on Breathing
- I don't focus on breathing on a day-to-day basis. I do meditate; that's the first ingredient to calming your mind. When I do meditations I focus only on the breathing for the first 10 to 15 minutes before I even start with visualizations or images of construction of future events. Breathing in and holding in your breath for three seconds is what I usually do and then I count to three and I let it out and count to three. There's always a number three in my head.
